    Brought back from Indochina in 1828, the mandarin-tree has since prospered on the occidental banks of the Mediterranean Sea. Facing the Messina Strait, it sculpts the Calabrian landscape without a touch of bitterness. The mandarin’s softness harkens back to ancient times when its essential oils composed an elegant, odorant grammar.

    Trudon is the world's oldest candle manufacturer. In 1643, Claude Trudon became the owner of a shop on Rue Saint-Honoré, where he developed his candle-making business. His candles were purchased by both congregations and private homes. Thus, at the beginning of Louis XIV's reign, Claude Trudon created a company that would make his family's fortune.
